What teachers say about our training

Prioritize Connection with Student

Cindy (Educator)

Gave me permission to prioritize connection with student. There's always pressure to "get through curriculum", but it was good to learn that none of that is possible without connection with students. The program gave me permission to focus on the relationships.

Sessions Flew By!

Carly (Educator, Mental Health Specialist)

Really enjoyed format. Appreciated that the resources weren’t time consuming. Liked that it was ahead of time. Instead of homework/after (facilitated conversation). Sessions really flew by – often didn’t want them to end.

Relationship Building not Anti-Bullying

Paul (School Administrator)

I was looking for an anti-bullying program and I liked the holistic view: "take care of folks around you then you will have decrease in bullying behaviour." Teachers love to be philosophical but also love the practical, applied practice for 9:30 tomorrow morning. This course delivered. It was practical, but not preachy.

Authentic and meaningful

Crystal (Educator)

This felt like mental health or wellness training for me too! Good for me as well as good for students. It was also an experience and I liked learning through doing. Building relationships as part of the process. Kate was excellent at engaging. Intense in a good way
